The Framework · Dimension 6 of 6

Social Style

Social Style is how you show up around other people: how readily you step in, how warmly you come across, and how much you steer the room. It's the texture others pick up on first, and it stays recognizably you across very different groups.

The scales inside Social Style

Where you'll feel Social Style

In career

It shapes whether your capability gets seen, whether people want to work with you, and whether you get the informal access that actually drives career momentum.

In relationships

It determines how close people feel they can get to you, and whether they experience you as someone who meets them or someone they have to adjust to.

In learning & growth

It shapes whether you get honest feedback, because how you show up socially determines whether people feel safe enough to tell you what you actually need to hear.

What you can do with Social Style

Use it in conversation

Knowing your Social Style tells you how you're landing before you've finished speaking. So you can adjust in the moment instead of wondering why the conversation went sideways.

Use it in a decision

It tells you whose input you're unconsciously filtering out based on social dynamics. So your decisions draw on a fuller picture than your natural style would otherwise allow.

Use it in growth

Knowing how you show up socially tells you whether you're creating the conditions where people will actually challenge you, which is where most real growth comes from.

How Social Style works with the rest of you

Social Style × Values

Values name what matters to you. Social Style names who you want around while you act on it. The same decision can take one person a long private weekend and another person three phone calls.

Social Style × Temperament

Temperament is your pattern under pressure. Social Style decides who you want near you when it hits. A calm person can still need the door shut.

See yourself clearly. Then decide.

It starts with the assessment: about 20 minutes, built on validated psychology, and a living profile that's yours to keep.
